Orange-tip Butterfly Egg

I have managed (just) to get an image of the Orange-tip butterfly egg, using a Nikon 105mm macro lens and all my extenders attached (12mm+20mm+36mm). It's hard to tell exactly what size this is, though I would hazard a guess at between 1mm-2mm
This one is in my back garden, attached to a Cardamine pratensis (cuckoo flower, Ladys smock). I'm wandering around the meadows trying to get images of the Orange-tip butterfly and there he/she is in my own back yard. Hopefully this survives, it is in a fairly sheltered spot, and I'll be able to chart and record its progress, from conception to birth.
