Seen a few of these at Strumpshaw now, but this one hung around for quite a while.

It also lacks the black 'V' pattern on the forehead you expect to see in a muntjac. I think water deer look more dog-like than muntjac as well.
Of course the clincher is it is beside ... erm ... water. (almost joke, as water deer are more likely to be seen in reed beds than the more woodland loving muntjac).
