Jack-go-to-bed-at-noon

I rather prefer Jack-go-to-bed-at-noon to Goat's Beard - much more interesting! I haven't seen the purple one - will have to watch out for it. The yellow one grows in our garden.

Not that common

It is not that common were I live and I am not sure when they say it closes its flower head by noon or dull weather as it was thundery and after noon when I took the photo, maybe it was trying to break the mould.
