Confidence: I'm as sure as I can be.
Notes: The anther "smut" (not actually a smut) on Red Campion is now regarded as a separate species. See http://www.bioref.lastdragon.org/Pucciniomycotina/Microbotryum_lychnidis-dioicae.html . Some argue that the species on Red and White Campions are different, which then makes the species on Red Campion Microbotryum silenes-dioicae, but they are not reproductively isolated and better regarded as strains of one species. However the separation from M. violaceum is well supported on morphological, reproductive and molecular grounds.
