Species with which Pterostichus madidus interacts

Big black ground-beetles with red legs

There might be other species with red legs on the site, such as the rather scarce Pterostichus macer, but only P. madidus has the very rounded hind corners to the pronotum (thorax) and the very convex wing-cases which are almost joined together. P. madidus is the commonest species in this group, but it's worth checking for others too.
