Newt in lilly pond close to Woodfiddley, Brockenhurst. Approx. 70-75mm long inc. tail.

It is very difficult to separate newts at the best of times unless, as Syrphus says they are males in breeding colours. If someone twisted my arm and insisted I named it I'd probably go for palmate but I can not be certain.
