Description:

Moving around and feeding in ground vegetation, wondering if may have been ill or blind as it did not run away even when we got close though it seemed aware of our presence and was eating.

I sometimes wonder if they know if your a threat or not as I have some short tailed voles and field mice and they carry on as normal when I am out in the garden but leg it when my dog's come out.

Small mammals can often appear very tame, it depends if they have learnt to be frightened of humans I think.
