Sage skipper 09-09-16
Description:

This looks very like the Mallow Skipper which I have just posted, but I think it is just possible to see that its wings have a white border, which makes me think it may be a Sage Skipper.

    Confidence: It might be this.
  •
    Likely ID
    Carcharodus sp.

Thank you for your ID. I have put up as http://www.ispot.org.uk/node/140714 two photographs I took a couple of weeks later than this one, on two different days but in much the same place, and which I assumed were also Sage Skippers.
