Fungi or lichen with black or berry dark brown upper surfance, and creamy brown lower surface. Its edges curl upwards, and break. The surface on both sides is nor dry nor slimy.
This specie is mostely surrounded by stonecrops, mosses and invasive plants. The entourage suggests the soil is acidic. It is exposed to drought, cold weather, rough winds, and sunlight as it is not shaded and is unprotected from environmental conditions.
It is located on a rooftop on a hill near the English SW coast.

Caution: Do NOT use iSpot to identify fungi to eat!

Some fungi are very poisonous so a mistaken ID could have serious consequences.
