Apologies -

to the "Sand-Dancers" for inadvertently relocating one of their tourist attractions to the land of the "Maccams" in the original post.

(Translation: South Shields folk are sometimes called "Sand-Dancers" because of the old Wilson, Keppel & Betty music hall act, related to an alleged resident Arab (probably Yemeni) population. Sunderland folk (where I placed the site) were called "Maccams" because they built the ship hulls that other yards fitted out - "they maccam, we takkem".)
