Dendroxena quadrimaculata - Burgess Copse

Found on low vegetation in mixed woodland. The same species was on iSpot recently:
where we were discussing whether or not it was egg-laying or just ejecting a liquid. The beetle shown here did eject a pungent fluid when I picked it up, so that appears to be part of its defence mechanism.
