On horse dung.

I love this photo, but I presume the colour balance is wrong and they were more grey than blue??

Yes, they were greyish - I was tempted to tweak the colour balance but decided to leave it.

Fungi on horse dung

It is certainly a Coprinus but there are lots of species that grow on dung and most require the use of a microscope and a good key.
