Who was Timothy Tortrix?

Looking at the pictures, it looks very likely. The habitat is a bit debatable, but it looks good - despite the name it appears to be polyphagous.
I was dubious because it seems early for a peacock to pupate, and also they are n ot usually solitary caterpillars.
Thanks very much for the correction - I shall edit the observation accordingly.
