Moths?

Observed: 19th April 2011 By: FizzFizz’s reputation in Invertebrates
moths
Description:

We can across these in coppiced woodland on a very sunny day. Lots of them in a 'cloud' of furious activity. I was lucky two had landed and were still. Impressive antennae and metallic sheen to wings.

Moths?

Thanks Valerie! great. I looked them up and found the one I think it is - Longhorn moth - Adela reaumurella.

Attached to my clothing after gardening, I was in the meadow near willows. It's about two inches long and when I returned it it looped up and waved about!
