Clustered bonnet

Lightweight, brown conical caps on a fine stipe. The mshrooms were 4-6 cm high. Growing on what looked like rotting wild cherry.


Caution: Do NOT use iSpot to identify fungi to eat!

Some fungi are very poisonous so a mistaken ID could have serious consequences.

Or possibly Mycena galericulata (Common Bonnet), as they do not appear to be that densely clustered?
