Lichen species on tree beside pond

The lichen present on the side of this tree are typical of those species found on many trees in the area. A yellow foliose and grey foliose species are present. There also appears to be a green crustose species. The canopy was fairly thick but the tree stood quite apart.


Caution: Do NOT use iSpot to identify fungi to eat!

Some fungi are very poisonous so a mistaken ID could have serious consequences.

The yellow species

is indeed X. parietina. The resolution of the photograph does not give enough detail on the grey species. Physcia tenella is a common associate, but I do not think the posted ID can be any more than, at best, a reasoned guess.
