Which type of bee and what is it on?

Possibly Bombus monticola on Sedum acre or a closely related cultivar(if leaves are cylindrical)
B. monticola has the gaster > half orange-red, and never has a white tail. It never looks likes this in any sex/caste.
I would have gone for B. terrestris for the bee - I think I can see a brown 'coffee-stain' at the base of the white. However, that and lucorum s.l. are often not easy to separate
recording wildlife with The Recorder's Year on www.hbrg.org.uk/TRY.html.
Probably Sedum rupestre.
