Are you really sure? This does seem quite different, a rounded body rather than pointed, no patterned markings like the lesser water-boatman and a lot lighter in colour. I would have assumed the nymph of a water boatman would look more larvae-like....but I am new to this!!

My humblest apologies - a nymph it is

I just found some photos on an American site of a similar creature from
Lewes, Sussex County, Delaware, USA.
I found mine rather strangely near Lewes, Sussex, UK........spooky!!
