Description:

approx 5mm long. Has wings inside hard case. I don't know what it had been feeding on.

Scientific name

EOL lists the spelling with one t as correct and that with two ts as a mis-spelling.

Presumably one t is who Linnaeus had it when the species was described.

seems to be that correct spelling trumps Linnaeus.
