Coprinus or Inocybe?

Fungi was picked by a friend, not known if had a bulbous base. Appears aged, seems like Inkcap as black residue when touched & melting down to an inky state. Has black spores. My immediate though however was incocybe from shape. Cap 11cm dia, exclusive stem 18 cm. Thought by picker to be found growing on deadwood.


Caution: Do NOT use iSpot to identify fungi to eat!

Some fungi are very poisonous so a mistaken ID could have serious consequences.
