Anna0289, these are the same photos that you recently posted as 'Xantholinus linearis' and which I identified as a species of Rugilus (I'm as sure as I can be).
You seem to have deleted that earlier observation and replaced it with this where you claim that identification as your own but only as 'It's likely to be this, but I can't be certain'.
I don't think this is good iSpot behaviour. I can understand if you might be embarrassed by your previous identification as X. linearis but part of the value of iSpot is to show how identifications evolve towards a consensus, and to give credit to those who contribute their opinions.
I was unaware that this was something that was frowned upon. As you can see I am studying from an open university module which is due to be completed shorty and was worried that too many incorrect identifications in my field study report would mean I wouldn't pass.
Again I really was unaware that I was not allowed to delete and repost my observations. Sorry for the bad ispot behaviour.
