Perhaps just a little shallow on the depth of field - that's just my personal choice, but some fine details!
Thanks for the comments. As you know, although the depth of field increases as you shut the lens down the sharpness decreases. I’m experimenting to see which f number works best for this type of subject. These were taken at f5.6 and I agree the depth of field is a little too shallow.
I use a 100 mm macro for subjects like this. Took me some time to appreciate which f-stop to use. The other major thing to remember is the closer you are to the subject, the more it accentuates the shallowness of the focal plane. I'm often at f13 - f18 for subjects like this small spider. If I'm further away on a larger subject then f8 - f10 are often better.
