2 Egyptian Geese spotted at Pen Ponds in Richmond Park, London
No interactions present.
These are usually found in Eastern England. Is it unusual for them to be in a London park?
I've seen Egyptian goose in one of the London parks before, I think it was Hyde Park. Therefore, I asume there is a healthy colony of them there. Any Londoners wish to confirm this?

Yes, very healthy colony of Egyptian geese along the Thames in west London. I live near the Thames in Chiswick and see a fair few on the Thames itself (uploaded 1 picture about a week ago). They use Kew Gardens as a safe haven/breeding ground. I saw 5 on Saturday alone in Kew gardens without really looking out for them. Took some pictures which I will probably upload later this week.
Don't get to Richmond park as often, but again it is probably a good safe haven away from the Thames.
