Description:

Some wahtlike a fluffy bee, long tube poiting forward from the head. Behaves like a hoverfly flying away and returning to the same spot to hover.
Observed on a warm sunny afternoon

I have observed the same fly in my garden only this morning, flitting from flower too flower, amazing flyer

Amazing flier

...Amazing photo. I have tried to photograph these in flight and autofocus gets confused with the background. To capture this in flight, and well focussed to boot is certainly no mean feat.
