Description:

Beaten from a hawthorn bush, I first thought that this was a lacewing. However, looking at it more closely, I've no idea what it is. It seems to have a fairly dense waxy coating, or is it a fungus?
It certainly had two pairs of wings, the hind pair very much smaller than the anterior pair. Total length was c. 6 mm.

Thanks John

Have borrowed the Colin Plant key, and it keys out as Conwentzia but as it's female I can't go any further.
