Glad to see these creatures from streams etc as we don't often get them. However I am not sure there are currently many experts in this kind of creature on ispot so it would be good to get some more people involved. May try a bit of pond or river dipping myself.
Thank you for your comments, I have another type of rams horn snail in my garden pond which looks like a rarer snail named Anisus vorticulus so I will be contacting the relevant sites to get that confirmed. I may be developing a strange fascination with pond snails.....
