I thought this might be -

Barren Strawberry, Potentilla sterilis from what looks like a distinct gap between the petals. Not sure, though.

Potentilla sterilis and Fragaria vesca

I think everyone's right! There seem to be two distinct plants here. The bright green one in the foreground (leaves only) has the look of F. vesca - certainly not P.sterilis, the leaf shape is subtly different and as has been said the terminal tooth is longer than it's neighbours. The plant with the flowers is however P. sterilis - central tooth shorter than neighbours and gaps between the petals.

I've never seen the two in close proximity, but there's always a first time!
