might also be heterobasidion annosum. Note these two pictures are of different species, probably a good idea to remove the second image. If you go to 'edit' then I think you can untick the image to remove it from the observation.
This is definitely Heterobasidion annosum. Note how the bracket grows round everything it encounters.
