"Ooze?" from rotting stump
Description:

This was observed "oozing" from rotting deciduous stump

Identifications

Caution: Do NOT use iSpot to identify fungi to eat!

Some fungi are very poisonous so a mistaken ID could have serious consequences.

I agree this is Exidia

I agree this is Exidia nucleata, which seems to be very abundant this year. Not to be confused with Tremella mesenterica (Yellow Brain) as I did (see http://ispot.org.uk/node/10205) - this can also appear clear when it becomes washed out.

I am often called to identify

I am often called to identify this fungi by the public and once thought it to a plant gel. I took a sample and sent it to Kew. It was idetified as Exidia nucleata
