Description:

A bee (?) that was warming up by extending and contracting it's abdomen in the sunshine, and then flew off after I grabbed a few shots. The most amazing golden colours!

The sawfly has been on and around the honeysuckle in my garden for 2 days now, and that last picture is of it on one of the stems of the honeysuckle warming up in the sun.

It has spent most of the time flying around the leaves. Is it looking for somewhere to lay some eggs maybe?
