Description:

Garden escape, beautiful perennial from Southern Europe that has become very well established in woods around the St. Lawrence area. Flowers over a long period, and has the benefit of very attractive marbled leaves.The corms can get very large, the common name Sowbread purports to the fact that the corms could be rooted out by wild pigs!
