Description:

Close to the base of a deciduous tree but growing within the leaf litter. 2-3cm across with the mouth well open. still had some spores in it, but I think it had been open a while. spines had started to detach leaving a'honeycomb' pattern.

Identifications

Caution: Do NOT use iSpot to identify fungi to eat!

Some fungi are very poisonous so a mistaken ID could have serious consequences.
