Plenty of trees within the wood of all different ages. Plenty of species ranging from Oak, Silver birch, Alder and Beech just to mention a few.
No interactions present.
Well done on getting this nice shot! They're not uncommon round where I live (Woburn Sands, near Milton Keynes) and I've been trying to photograph them over the last few weeks, but they are (a) usually difficult to spot, until they flit down to start their climb up another branch, (b) keep moving around (rather too often to the other side of the branch in question!) and (c) seem largely to stay quite high up in the trees, hence rather distant for photography (at least with my camera). It evidently needs plenty of patience (and duff photos along the way) - so congratulations on this nice 'catch'!
