Polytrichum or Hedwigia?

I don't think it's Hedwigia. According to Watson's British Mosses and Liverworts Hedwigia ciliata is found 'on siliceous rocks in mountain districts.' The general structure of the moss I found is more characteristic of Polytrichum-although it is a rather small specimen-which is a very common moss in the moorland area where I live.
