Description:

Hoary stock-probably native to the Isle of Wight,where it is frequent on south facing sea cliffs, gorgeous fragrance!A lovely line drawing of this plant appeared on the front cover of an earlier Flora of the Isle of Wight by Bevis, Kettell and Shepard in 1978.
