Striped basilisk

In a way you are both right, however, Jesus Christ lizard is a nick-name given to all basilisks, though most usually the common basilisk (Basiliscus basiliscus).

They have earned the nick-name as they can run so fast they can skim over the surface of water for short stretches; thus looking as though they can miraculously walk on water.

It si the striped basilisk because, well, of the stripes, mainly the large, pale green one down the side.
