I love these little finches

I love these little finches and it's been a great year for them in the North East. I've been looking through my records, and during past "Siskin winters" when they've been regular in my garden, they've stayed around as late as the end of April. Maybe you get them throughout the year if they breed near you.

Not sure

I do see them most of the time and I am surrounded by conifer woods, plus wark forest.I have never seen this amount I must have a flock of around 50 and they don't seem to be bothered by my presence, will keep an eye out to see if they do breed. They are so agile and have lovely markings.

I haven't seen any Siskins in

I haven't seen any Siskins in he garden for a few days now, I suspect there'll be no more until the next "Siskin winter". Hopefully, yours will hang around and breed.

I can't complain, they've been regular from 30 December until 21st March.
