An interesting goose (or perhaps an interesting couple of geese - it looks like there may be two with a reduced white chin patch in the swimming pic).
Just individual variation I guess, I can't say that I tend to look closely at Canada Geese, but I haven't noticed any with reduced chin patches like this. Nothing else looks out of place though.
I think the dark chin patch is because its an immature bird.
There is generally no noticeable difference between the chin patch of adults and juvenile/first winter Canada Geese.
