This fish was found out of the water under a stone. It was about 10-12 cm long. I couldn't get a good view of the dorsal fins. Shanny was my best guess can anyone confirm or suggest an alternative?

Your correct it is a Shanny,

Your correct it is a Shanny, there are a couple of similar species (montagues and tompot blennies) but they have one or two tentacles on the head which your fish does not
