Dead vole?

Observed: 12th March 2011 By: patricklauriepatricklaurie’s reputation in Mammals

Description:

Found in the jaws of a dead weasel which had been hit by the side of a road through open moorland and rough grasses. Is it a vole, a short tailed vole or what? I see them frequently, but never got round to identifying them once and for all...

Field vole
