Description:

unknown bug of green/grey/white crystaline appearance. Disc shaped, tiny creature (5-6mm) found in grassland on Ludshott Common, Hampshire. Any suggestions as to species greatly appreciated.

closer view of mystery bug

Suggestion that this is lacewing lava. Does this better view aid definate identification?

Thanks for the cropped image. The experts were able to ID this for you, even from the original picture, but 'lacewing larva' is as far as one can go with this, I think. Amazing creature, isn't it?
