Disgusting.............

Disgusting............still it makes one marvel at the diversity of life on earth. The cap of this fungus perfectly resembles faeces both in look and smell - a marvel of evolution.

The ball-like stage is sometimes referred to as 'Witches Eggs' - I don't know of anyone who has eaten one of these and don't fancy it either!
