Found on the iSpot Waders & Wildfowl Workshop at Arne RSPB reserve in Dorset. I thought it was dead at first, then I noticed its antennae moving a little.

Tough customer

These dung beetles tend to favour rabbit droppings for food and nesting materials and make their nests over the winter, probably why it was out and about in late November.
