Yes I agree, it's a superb photo. The bird stands out well against the out of focus background. Did you use a hide?

Hide? Well actually taken from my car. I live in Watford but work in Bristol and have a caravan in Clevedon which is my accommodation during the week. I've added another photo of the same bird. As I drive round the site returning to the van I always keep my eyes open and on this particular day I spotted this bird flying round the touring caravan plots - landing on lamps and posts in turn. I got my camera and basically followed it around for a few minutes at a respectful distance grabbing as many shots as I could - some of which came out pretty well. Although Wheatears are regularly seen in the area this was my only encounter to date on the site. Very handsome birds Wheatears!
