False Widow Spider?

Found in the garden today. I have seen False widows in the garden in previous years. The only thing that confused me about this one was the lack of pattern on the body.

I agree the usual pattern is very feint on the abdomen of this individual, but it is just about there, and the size seems to clearly indicate S. nobilis - Michael Roberts' guide in the Collins series gives a range of 8.5-14mm for the female, making this the largest in the genus.
