Apodemus sylvaticus

I think.

My cat (a rescue) has the biggest loudest bell on his collar. He brings in leaves and the occasional corpse of a long dead creature.

The domesticated cat is the worse (second only to people)for 'killing for play' which Human beings should take responsibility for.

Still, this is no excuse for irresposible pet ownership.

It is always sad to see an animal dead for no good reason.

This is a wood mouse, if it were yellow-necked you would see the collar. However, there are yellow-necked mouse in your area.
