Arabadopsis sp.

I think that it could be Arabidopsis thaliana, commonly called thale cress, which is a common weed of waste ground, with a very quick reproductive cycle (about 6 wks!).

It's small genome has made it a plant of much research, see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arabidopsis_thaliana for an interesting read.

Hi Sarah thanks, looking at your link I would agree with your identification. It was amazing how quickly it found it's way to our garden, we are looking forward to seeing it flower.
