Impossible

...to be certain from a photo like this, as they can be hard to sex in the hand, even. The face pattern of red, not really extending behind the eye, looks OK for a female, but you'd want to see the colour of the lesser coverts and measure the wing length and look at the colour of the nasal hairs, even, to be sure! A combination of all tends to lead to a confident decision...but some remain unsexed, still.

As always with these things, some are at the extremes and are easy to put to male or female...but most lie somewhere in between.
