Dark Arches 2321
Another Dark Arches?
Description:

Darker moth is a dark arches, but the lighter example I'm unsure about. I think it is a Dark Arches, too but I'd welcome any suggestions. I find there is so much variation & the books so hard to distinguish that confirmation is tough. There are so many of these "Arches".

Variability

I think lighter specimen is definitely Dark Arches - as you say, the white W is characteristic as are the parallel dark lines that show when the wings are at rest. I have certainly had a wide variety of shades.
