I was photographing flowers in general and was then unable to identify these. They were in a churchyard, at the edge where the mower doesn't get to them. The soil in these parts is fairly alkaline. The plants were fairly small, about 3 inches tall, and there were quite a number of them. The nearest I could find in Collins was Ground Ivy but it does not look quite right.
